He was the first village man to socialize with the animals. He is many of the children who are pure blooded great grandfather from many generations back. His wife was the first to transform after he died in battle.

History:
In the passed small wolf like creatures roamed the fields near a small village. The locals believed they were gods that helped them survive winter after winter. They protected these beasts and made shrines for them. The village was a small farm community who only had their family and crops. They were raided all the time and during wars they were killed for resources and sent to war without a second thought on how their family would survive without them.

During the late winter hunters came to the region. The villagers like every year fought against the to protect their gods. This time though solders came with them. They wanted to hunt the weird creatures as a passing time while their generals planned out attacks. After the killing of 5 villagers including two kids they got their way. Villagers couldn't stand the sights as their gods were carried on the backs of laughing men to the skinned later.

Seiji took a stand and went out to the field where the creatures lived. He respected them and they did the same. They had lived side by side for years and now the humans were betraying them. Seiji came back telling the people if they didn't do something now the gods would never forgive them. They had a duty to protect the creatures that blessed them with such land. Again they stood in the men's path the next day. This time they were armed with the tools of their fields.

Blood was shed of course though the deaths of the villagers heavily out numbered the solders. It was until Seiji was killed did the fight really begin. His wife mournful of his death rose with anger and struck down the killer of her husband. Others did the same as they were filled with sadness and hate. In the end the solders gave up and carried they injured and dead men back. Mostly only the ones who had transformed had survived. They didn't need their gods now but still saw them as beings to respect. The village saw them now as their protectors while they suspected they were the ones who gave them such power.

In the passing years they have stayed a small village. They have kept out of sight as they have used their combined power to hide themselves in their plant life. Only 5 years ago did they start to send their children out into the world and only this year are they allowed to go to school. They know nothing of the history or life outside of their home. If there has been a war or conflict they would never know. They have stayed by their gods the whole time protecting them and serving them.
